Christian grew up in Carpentersville, where he attended Dundee Crown High School.  At DCHS, he played soccer every year and led his team in scoring his last couple years breaking single season scoring record with 31 goals.  Christian received the Athlete of the Year Award his Senior year at DCHS while garnering all-state honors in 2006 & 2007 and winning area player-of-the-year honors from the Courier News and Northwest Herald.  He also landed all-area honors from the Chicago Tribune and Daily Herald, as well as many of the local publications.  During this time, he played at Chicago Magic SC where he helped his team to the 2007 Super-Y League national championship, a State Cup Final Runner Up in 2006, a State Cup Championship in 2007, and back-to-back Midwest Region championships in 2005 and 2006.   Playing at Bradley University, Christian was second-leading scorer and assist leader as a senior in 2011 where he was awarded 1st Team All-Missouri Valley Conference, All-MVC Tournament, and NSCAA All-Midwest Region (1st Team).  After finishing his collegiate career Christian played professional in the USL Pro League with the Charlotte Eagles SC, as well as the Chicago Soul & Chicago Mustangs Major Arena Soccer League.
