Antonio Oliveira

Born in São Paulo - Brazil in 1982, I’ve been involved in playing soccer since my first steps.

I’ve started playing travel futsal at Clube de Regatas Tietê where I’ve had played for over 8 years, after that from 1995 to 2000 I’ve played as right defender at S.E. Palmeiras also in São Paulo’s Brazil. At Palmeiras I’ve started playing as Goalie on my last year at the club, and got invited to be part of a College team as goalie, so I’ve joined Universidade Unip in São Paulo where I’ve played during 4 years.

After college I’ve started working in Multinational Companies such as Sony, and Samsung, and traveling the world working with Marketing. I’ve couldn’t be far from Soccer so I’ve started playing at a competitive amateur soccer league for Clube Hebraica where I’ve played for about 6 years.

In 2013 I’ve moved to Chicago to start a MBA course at Loyola University, and 6 years ago we’ve moved to Arlington Heights where I started being involved with coaching soccer for kids, and getting my coach licenses, during this time I have coached kids in different programs, from ages 3 to 18 years old on competitive, and non competitive programs.

I have 2 kids myself, a seven year old boy, and a three year old girl, both are involved in soccer and currently playing here at Elite SC.
