Brandon Braun

Growing up in Arlington Heights, I began playing for Elite S.C. when I was 8 years old. I continued to play for Elite all the way to the u23 team. I was blessed to have some great coaches and teammates during my time playing for Elite. I attended St. Viator High School where I had the opportunity to compete in two European soccer tournaments (Gothia Cup & Dana Cup) the summer before my junior year. My time playing in Europe proved very formative for me as I was exposed to different soccer cultures and tactics that helped deepen my understanding of the game.  In my senior year at St. Viator we were able to compete in the state semifinals while also winning our conference. I went on to attend the University of Dayton, where I studied Finance with a minor in Entrepreneurship. College marked the start of my coaching journey as I began coaching recreational and travel soccer for Oakwood United (an Ohio club).

 

Outside of soccer, I work at Morningstar in Equity Research Sales. In my free time I enjoy traveling, playing sports, and spending time with my friends and family. I am excited to share my knowledge and love of the game with the next generation of soccer players.
