Taso Triantafillidis

I have been involved as a player and coach in the game of soccer for 40 yrs playing locally on one of the first travel teams Buffalo Grove put together along with playing at Buffalo Grove High School and on to sone semi-pro. I’ve coached now for 19 yrs and look to pass along all that knowledge to the girls!

 My coaching philosophy is to not only teach the technical and tactical side of the sport but to work with them mentally to understand the sport and why they are doing the things I ask. I want them to constantly ask me about the positions they play and what they see while playing so I can explain to them better what options they will have, I want a constant open dialogue with them. I also will constantly look to build them up mentally and physically and to not be afraid of making mistakes as that is a big part of the process.
