Payton McDonnell-All-American Loras College

Congratulations to Payton McDonnell (St. Viator) named @unitedsoccercoaches ALL-American Team for Loras College! Payton has an NCAA Division III-leading 24 assists to shatter an almost decade-long single-season record. In her three seasons wearing the purple and gold, Payton has recorded 52 assists to come within just one of the NCAA career record! The All-American accolades come along with an already-impressive list of honors this season for Payton, as she has received All-Region recognition, was named American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Defensive Player of the Year and was honored by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) for her academic excellence with Academic All-District honors. Loras finished as semi-finalist in the NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Tournament Semifinals in Greensboro, N.C. Friday. Number 9 ranked Loras College goes in with a 21-0-2, 8-0-0 A-R-C record!
